For 5,000 years, the House of Kar has ruled the realm as dragon-riders and monarchs, claiming divine legitimacy through a sacred prophecy: "Only those of Kar blood can tame and ride dragons." This belief has shaped governance, culture, military supremacy, and societal hierarchy. They dont have any true close ties with other Noble houses beyond military oaths and fealties. They are not the most benevolent or efficient rulers of the masses.

Recently, irrefutable evidence has emerged: the prophecy is a lie. Anyone, regardless of lineage or bloodline, can bond with and ride dragons. This discovery was made by a group of royal-appointed dragon caretakers—Maesters—who were responsible for raising and studying young dragons in the royal citadel of Virehall. Their findings include historical documents, suppressed magical records, and recent dragon-bonding anomalies that collectively indicate the falsehood of the Kar-exclusive narrative. The Kar family themselves are not aware of such a fact. If this knowledge is released it will delegitimize the Kar monarchy overnight. 

Wahhabism is a strict, ultraconservative form of Sunni Islam. Saudi Arabia adopted Wahhabism and rejects many traditional practices, especially those of Shia and Sufi Muslims. For example, it opposes interpretations, practices, and beliefs that arose after the time of the Prophet; it seeks the strict application of Islamic law (Sharia); and, in cases such as Saudi Arabia, it has a religious police charged with monitoring public codes of conduct.

Saudi Arabia adopted Wahhabism as its official religious ideology and has promoted it globally, financing mosques and religious institutions abroad—including schools, universities, and political movements.
