Grand Final

  • Each finalist will respond to a deeply human, reflective prompt that demands personal judgment, moral reasoning, and authenticity. There is no correct answer. Contestants are evaluated on their ability to communicate honest thought, emotional depth, clarity, and presence in the moment. This task is intentionally designed to test human experience over memorised content.
  • Semifinals Pitch

  • You are one of the top 10 finalist at the Africa Business Heroes (ABH) Prize competition 2026. Pitch a business/product answering these key questions: 1. How far you’ve come 2. ⁠Your edge above other competitors 2. ⁠What the Grand prize of $300,000 would do for your business/product 3. ⁠Your vision to scale across Africa.
  • Quarterfinals: Persuasive Speech

  • Give a 4 minute speech persuading the audience that U.S. intervention in Venezuela would create a global precedent that powerful countries can decide leadership outcomes in weaker state.  Begin with : Today it is Venezuela tomorrow it will be someone else….
  • Round 5: Impromptu Phrase

  • Contestants will receive an idiom and craft a meaningful impromptu speech that clearly interprets and applies it.
  • Round 4: Word Play

  • Contestants will deliver a high-class speech creatively incorporating selected words.
  • Round 3: Advocacy Speech

  • Contestants will select one issue and deliver a powerful advocacy speech calling for awareness, action, or change.
  • Round 2: Impromptu Speech

  • Contestants will be given a relatable psychological scenario and must deliver an impromptu speech responding thoughtfully and creatively.
  • Round 1: Prepared Speech

  • Contestants will deliver a 3-minute prepared speech on any topic of their choice, showcasing clarity, structure, originality, and confident delivery.
